I recently had the opportunity to photograph the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) Charity Preview Party hosted by Grant Thornton. This year, the gathering took place at the fabulous Bourbon Steak restaurant in the MGM Casino in downtown Detroit. The restaurant was very cool- from the colorful bottle display to the textural brick and lumber salvaged from old Detroit buildings to the super-friendly staff. It was a great night!

Julia shines
I went to Andy & Elaine's house last weekend to photograph the whole family for their holiday card. Julia, their older daughter, later said she didn't feel like having her photo taken that day. However, she managed to steal the show. I was able to capture her watching the squirrels out the kitchen window, and happily eating her grandmother's snickerdoodles (which were delicious, by the way). I hear that she thinks I am "pretty cool" which is pretty cool to me!

Constantine, Aurora, Russell, & Olivia

Remember Lucy, the sweet newborn from October? Well I got to meet all four of her siblings last weekend- Constantine, Aurora, Russell, & Olivia. That's right- a total of five kids! And they are all so well-behaved, and totally adorable. Autumn and John, you have your hands full, but you are obviously doing a great job- I had a great time taking their photos!
